the minimum of tracking prospects and making sure they hear from us regularly is very easy, and it is disturbing that it apparently is not happening yet going uncorrected.
I remember droski saying that Pete Carroll (as good a recruiter as there ever was) would have mandatory 5am meetings to discuss recruiting and what each specific coach was doing. That's how they'd get the #1 RB in the nation out of Louisiana back when LSU was on fire with recruiting and had Larry Porter on him.
Apparently he's barely played football. Seems like he might be a pretty good player, but probably not ready for awhile.
