Awful, terrible, defeated, sky is falling, will be lucky to have a top 50 recruiting class this year, 0-15.
First of all: Second of all: I am looking for people to tell me how we are definitely going to upgrade and didn't want those dead weights anymore.
Rocker is a great coach but didn't put much effort into recruiting. Blumbuagh is a guy that's from the south and recruits it well. He's a much better recruiter.
I like the fact Pruitt let three guys leave and it appears he's immediately replaced them off of a pretty damn good defense at the end of the year. The man doesn't rest on past achievements
How is Blumbaugh as a coach? It's nice for him to get players in here, but can we expect the type of improvement the guys saw under Rocker?
He's got Bud Dupree and Za'Darius Smith as guys he's coached. He supposedly played a big role in landing Antonio Alfano, the 5 star dlineman that transferred from Alabama to Colorado too. He was at LSU in 2007 and he's been around a lot of Saban disciples. I believe he can coach
From Gainesville, played at Auburn and coached all over, including UTC and at Louisiana Tech for Derek [uck fay]ing Dooley
Don't know that this is relevant in the grand scheme of UT football but Pruitt is hiring like crazy. https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/t...ing-to-hire-former-mississippi-state-staffer/
some people just fear change itself. if we were turning over position coaches on a 12 win team and top 10 defense, I'd be concerned. this was an 8 win team with a top 25 defense. Also, pruitt was the most active coach on the sidelines coaching up dudes in critical situations. You can't get better by staying the same.
This may be me just reading into things too much but with the recent comments from Fulmer and CP, I am now believing that there is a much higher comfort level between the two and Heavy basically has given CP an open checkbook to do what he feels necessary. I think Fulmer knows now he's got the right guy, at least we all hope.
