It’s complicated but you’d think both sides would be willing to work something out under the circumstances; but that offer looks like a sure GFY from the PA
A bunch of millionaires and billionaires [itch bay]ing and moaning at each other. [uck fay] all of them.
Bullshit. Francouer had no clue about the strike zone. It was clear to anyone who watches much baseball that he would never amount to amount by June of his first season. (Unfortunately your average Braves fan is pretty dumb). You can go ahead and put Austin Riley in the Francouer/Heyward overrated category though. Acuna will be a perennial All Star.
Yeah my impression of Acuna is that he’s a lot closer to what Braves fans think he is than the prior legions of greatest ever things ever
Perhaps if they didn't treat every prospect who went 1-4 in their first game as the next Ruth I wouldn't be so skeptical.
The Braves fan base reminds me of UT's fan base. 95% of each are too stupid to understand the sport they are watching. Austin Riley is the current Francoeur. Waters may be the next in another season or two.
This is pretty much my attitude towards my favorite sport, MLB. There's a potential cliff on the horizon that's deeper than the 1994-95 strike season.
Talked to a friend in the agent business over the weekend. Basically the 2 Miami franchises and Baltimore are the three holding this up on the owners side. Everyone else is ready to play but it's got to be 30-0 to move ahead.
It means it's the offer that was 30-0 on. Other owners would concede more if it didn't have to be unanimous.
I vote to relegate the shitty franchises that are being difficult to AAA and let everyone else get this shit sorted out so they can play some ball.
