We were sloppy in that Mizzou game, despite the 400 yard performance in the air. Defense was lights out, though.
We were completely dominant for most of the game. IIRC we had a couple fumbles and had two kicks blocked?
Thinking more about Arkansas, and this is the first game in a while where nothing would surprise me. I think it’s quite clear at this point that we could lose by 30 if the quarterback plays like three weeks ago. We could also win by 30 if we come out with our A game and Arkansas brings their C- (which is going to happen, whether or not it’s this week—it does for every first-year coach at some point). Most likely it’s pretty close and gives me a heart attack. But the range of possibilities is wide open.
Defense wasn't bad, Guarantano had the ugliest 400 yard passing game I've ever seen. Jennings stiff armed the same Mizzou db 3 times in one play
There's no reason to watch, it's going to be an ugly grind that turnovers decide who wins. I can get behind that if Tennessee is playing UGA, UF or Alabama but at this point in his tenure, Tennessee needs comfortable 3 score wins versus the shit teams. Arkansas, while a nice story, isn't very good. Bring on the young guys and give us a reason to be excited, especially the young skill guys on offense
Let's see Hodge, Wideman, Beckwith, Holiday and Callaway. Let's see Joseph and Eason and Lawrence and Thomas. Tennessee needs playmakers, let's see if they are
It feels like a Bammer is doing this on purpose just to piss us off...I know that isn’t the case, but it feels that way.
