I think Butch knows and understands offense. His personal traits just rub on everyone the wrong way and he's a short gap fill. I think Pruitt knows defense as well as anyone. His personal traits just suck as well.
Butch attempted to use his experience as a Buccaneers ball boy to get their head coaching job. The AD that hired Butch at Arkansas State left for the UCF job nearly immediately after hiring him. Butch hired 3, maybe 4 offensive coordinators before one stuck
Butch managed to have the most unimpressive 9 win season of all time. He also managed to piss himself any time there was something important on the line
All he did was try to lower expectations while at UT so people would love him when he did well. The [uck fay]er didn't realize that we EXPECT to do well no matter what.
I mean he couldn’t deal with the pressure of beating Vandy. Twice. First year just to get to a bowl game and was scared of [ussy pay] Robinnett. Then blowing Sugar Bowl bid to Kyle Shurmur.
I think dooley could’ve coached here 100 years and never would’ve had a 9 win season. I also think Butch never would’ve had another one if he’d had 100 more years
butch swiped a playbook. he doesn't know offense, he knows AN offense, and not in a nuanced, deep or strategic way
It’s a shame about the new rule stating that Pruitt was not allowed to recruit a competent quarterback because then we could’ve compared them on fair terms.
This talk of Pruitt playing Guarantano... Yeah, it's indefensible. Anybody remember the QB play we had to endure until Dobbs got on the field? Remember who started at QB in front of him? Arguably the best QB since since Manning could barely sniff the field over a guy who had no business playing a down in that no option option offense.
I just cannot wait for the [uck fay]ing day when we don't have to talk about any of these [uck fay]wads anymore. They ALL suck.
