he capitalized AAC, which is UCF’s conference, so it felt like a shot at White and Heupel, but an all out assault on the Tennessee program, which is just unnecessary even if you’re coaching for the opposition now. still, it’s a damn tweet.
I’m assuming this is because he lied to Saban in the interview about his involvement in the Pruitt violations.
I don't know if joy is the right word, but I definitely cracked a "you don't say" smile when I first heard it.
Seems all the Vols that came back to coach were put in crap situations and some not treated well. I don’t know any that ended well and they can’t all be bad guys. Yeah he had a moment when he tweeted after FulGomer nuked our program. The whole thing is just rotten. I get that it riled some folks but it’s not good having a list of disenfranchised ex players who were fired, yelled at, hung out to dry and run out of the MF training facility by the clown parade we have had since 2010. It just sucks.
He’s working for O’Brien, coaching tight ends. I could see it being a legitimately bad fit. Or maybe he did something to piss Saban off. Either way, I doubt it has anything to do with the investigation at Tennessee. If there were any unknown baggage there, I’m sure Saban would have discovered it well before interviewing, much less hiring, Jay.
Not only is it embarrassing for him to do it as a graduate/former player, but he was also a part of two separate staffs that contributed to the streak, lol.
