    Friday night. Who is cooking?

Couple filet mignon's marinating in a Bulliet Bourbon and Greek seasoning mix, tortellini and a salad. Chasing with a cheap Grenache wine.

Temporarily turning this into the What's for Breakfast thread.

Anyone have a good migas recipe? There 80 different versions of migas it seems, and I can't find a good one.

What's for gametime works here too. I have a brisket, pulled pork, mac and chz that will clog your ass for a month, mashed potatoes amd gravy, baked beans and two kinds of corn bread.

    Also, beer and whiskey

Nah. I've already made a bloody mary or two. Never too early for a drink.

Taking a page from Justin and cooking doves for about 25 people. It will give me something to do during the poor excuse for a football game that is UK/UofL

How did you cook 'em? Wrapped in bacon, on the grill?

Mostly. I don't eat them rare, and there is no fat on the bird, so they need something to keep them from drying out. I grilled most of them wrapped in bacon with a jalapeno and a dab of cream cheese in a marinade.

I baked a few with bacon and barbecue sauce.

The grilled ones were better, but I had a few people who either did not like or were afraid of the jalapenos. It worked out well.

Tonight's menu: Pork tenderloin with taters, carrots, and onions. It's been in the crock pot for a few hours. Corn, English peas, Mac n cheese and Sister Shubert's rolls on the side. Washing it down with sweet tea.
    There's plenty. Come on over.

Two double cheeseburgers, large fry, and a Coke from Burger King. The "new" fries are ungodly.
