I'm not sure if this is true, but apparently Missouri has support from a majority of the schools, but not enough.

Apparently Alabama wants to make sure the UT rivalry is protected. Auburn doesn't care and wants to go East.

I don't know what other schools are against Auburn going East, but I'm assuming Tennessee is one of them at the moment.

Anyone feel free to add more info or correct me if I'm horribly wrong. Again, this is just from another board.

I think they need to scrap the current division set up and get radical.

Vandy, Mizzou and A&M to the West.
Auburn and Alabama to the East.

    East:
    Auburn
    Alabama
    Florida
    Georgia
    Kentucky
    Tennessee
    South Carolina

    West:
    Arkansas
    LSU
    Ole Miss
    Miss State.
    Mizzou
    Texas A&M
    Vandy

West is weak, though. So, this rearrangement is probably a terrible idea. Would work, geographically, but it makes the East way too difficult of a schedule.

There are many ways to slice a pie in half. I think something could work out North-South, or possibly just do two divisions set up interlaced with one another with solely balance in mind.

Damn fl0at, I had no idea you were a masochist. That East division is a murder's row.
