I just can't get beyond the good fortune of the Cardinals. They get two runs without even getting the ball out of the infield. All with a bullshit ball 4 call on Molina that is called a strike twice on the Rangers in the next inning. I'm befuddled. I guess if fortune is in your corner, then you make the most of it.
Man, Cardinal fans are going to be unbearable this whole next year. Luckily it will be beanie weather soon. Are they jinxed now?
I wonder if that dude that made a bet when they were 6 games back, went ahead and made a bet that they win the series once they made the playoffs. If so, that dude is loaded.
Both. I never thought it was as awful as some did, but never in my wildest dreams did I think they could pull this off. No one could.
Also, carp officially is only behind Gibson now in cardinals pitching lore to me. That was nothing but being a gamer tonight.
May have been there, but was definitely here too in the Cards thread that's still stuck in the black hole of threads not sorted into a particular forum. And I was one that didn't care much for it.
Happy for you Cardinals fans. Days like today remind me of a quote.. "people ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." Rogers Hornsby. In the same boat. Love baseball and always hate to see the season end. Hoping to curbstomp some Cocks to lighten my mood.
