    1. Justin Hunter is probably done with football to focus on track.

    2. Dooley has lost the team. The players "played to lose" Saturday in hopes that it would be enough to get Dooley fired. And I quote, "They are tired of his shit."

Poor decision on Hunter's part if he is done with football.

Are these new sparks you're creating or more rumors swirling?

When I post something like this, you can rest assured that I'm posting it on very good authority that it should be taken as gospel. It may end up being wrong, but I have every reason in the world to believe it is true.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Read elsewhere that Hunter tweeted Saturday "i'm done." So, take that for what it is worth.

Tennessee- where there's an apocalypse every 1.5 years on average.

Would be a huge loss if the first is true. The second seems to be the truth, but why the hell hoist the guy up post-Vandy?

I warned a lot of people Hunter may decide to go the track route.

The knee scared him. I'm not 100% sure he's done, but if the locker room turmoil is true, I don't blame him.

Hunter's knee injury will keep him out of this year's track season more than likely. It is not realistic to think that he would have a chance in hell performing well at enough at the USA Trials either bc of the injury and die to the fact that he had a ways to go already.

I am inclined to think that he is frustrated with the football issues like the other guys and it compiled with the issues that athletes struggle with when they suffer injuries like his.

I think Hunter's frustrated and acting like a 19-year old.

Give him some time to think a little more rationally, and consider the millions he stands to make in the NFL, and he'll come around.

A good coach coming in could easily get him to realize this.

I get that and all players get tired of their coaches, including those they love. The crap about intentionally losing to get a coach fired is a bit ridiculous. That isn't in ballplayer DNA.

Just reporting what I was told. They want Dooley gone.

I understand that, but I still don't buy that kids lose intentionally. For starters, it's way too big picture for kids so young and secondly, it's just not how competitive ballplayers approach the world.
