One of four things at work: 1. A current RB will transfer 2. A current recruit is looking elsewhere, or lacks the grades to get it 3. Hill will be used as a fullback once he beefs up more 4. You never can have enough running backs, especially when you're not very good at that position.
He has stated he is not strongly committed to UF...he has stated he loves UT...he is way better then anyone we have committed on paper...Dooley lands this guy his job is secure.
Isn't this kid James Davis' little brother? I remember James being pretty high on UT back in the day, so the family has liked the program for a while.
Not really. He is on the IR I believe. He only has a handful of carries. Spiller-Davis that was so awesome in college hasn't transitioned to the NFL.
I figured Spiller would would have an NFL career like Reggie Bush. A great returner and a 10 to 15 carry guy. I thought Davis would be a pretty good NFL TB.
Clemson players are enigmas. Roscoe Parrish? Jacoby Ford? Gaines Adams, RIP? Those guys were bosses in college. NFL? Not so much.
UT has the opposite problem. Underwhelming college careers turned NFL starters, see Eric Parker, David Martin, Arian Foster, etc.
