The grammar check isn't important. It's the irony of calling someone's post dumb while simultaneously showing you are a dumb person via your own post.

    None of this is important.

Because the supporting cast argument is a hypothetical "what if" argument, which people made very clear early on was not allowed in this thread.

To be honest, I'm perfectly fine with the supporting cast argument, and I agree with it. I think North's stats would be much similar to Amari's if he had a similar team around him. That would make this a conversation.
Still, that assumption isn't anywhere near enough to say North is better right now.

And if I have a criticism of North, it's his lack of a real breakout game this year. It seems like guys who are "best in conference" at their position are impossible to contain sometimes. He hasn't gone over 70 yards all season, if I remember correctly. Maybe it's all on the play calling and his teammates, but I feel like he should have had at least one dominant performance by now. Even if it's just from one or two huge plays.

WRs can't throw the ball to themselves.

Are you trying to resurrect a legit thread?

What do you think this is?

    GTFO, IMO.

This has all been covered. Cooper gains plenty of his yards from screen passes that are thrown behind the line of scrimmage. Doesn't take a Heisman hopeful QB to make those throws.

Either way, this thread needs to get 700 responses by midnight.

While true, there is timing and also a blocking element involved in success of screen plays. UT's Oline & QB effectively eliminate simple offensive plays. Long gains on screens certainly rely on the talent and skill of the player, but he also needs downfield blocking by other skill players and the line. Alabama is simply much stronger in those areas. I don't even want to delve into schematic/coaching elements.

Plus, there is a good chance North is our best blocker on the perimeter, which puts him as a blocker on those plays by default. That said, I don't think he has the type of explosive speed that Amari has to bust a lot of those plays.

Cooper runs extremely good routes too. North, as most have said, doesn't get the opportunity to run a lot of routes.

Haven't you agreed with me on both the major issues in this thread?

No, you've tried to pretend I agreed with you, but I haven't and don't.
