Who are their star players? Where are their weaknesses? What is their style of play? I've not watched a single Kentucky game, as I have been watching more Pac 12 and Mountain West games this year for some stupid reason.
I think if we play poorly we could lose but just a "so so" game from Dobbs and a decent effort by the defense should get us a victory.
I think their secondary is solid, but they get zero pass rush and have trouble with running quarterbacks.
Their defense is rather porous. Maybe not to USCs level but not very good. Their offense is up and down. More of the later here recently. They have better athletes than they have had but not enough of them. The long season and schedule upgrade over time has worn them down. If UT comes out focused and sharp (which shouldn't be an issue after an extra week) they should win by 2 scores +.
they're on i think their 8th straight week with a game. I've heard multiple people say they look gassed.
I have more concerns than most of you. Their qb is pretty big, a decent runner, and hard to tackle. We love to miss qb sacks. A mobile qb has historically given UT fits and KY tends to play very motivated against the Vols on occasion. I think we need to play a B+ game to win without praying for a final play to go our way. We CAN blow them out, but I think there is potential for KY to make a few plays if we play flat or turn the ball over.
UK can win the game, but UT is gonna have to help quiet a bit. The buy week should pay off with UK on fumes.
