Daniel McCullers Commits To Tennessee/Also Sunseri Plans to Run 3-4.

Law, he could, but even though it's called a 3-4, there are many 4 man front looks that can be used by walking an outside man up to the LOS. I think his move to DT some this year could have been as much to prepare him for a move to a 3-4 DE when Wilcox had the personnel to do such a move. jmo.

 

sounds like a great pick up. hopefully Sal can at least get ut a lot of good recruits

 

I do expect to see him coming from the down position on 3rd and long situations and standing more on 1st and second down now that I think about it.

Interesting idea...that is exactly where our depth for a 3-4 scheme is weakest along with NT.

He's tweeting as if he'll play DE. Guess he'll be competing with Walls and Miller to start opposite Sentimore. Could he play both perhaps?

 

He came in out of shape, but he was solid as the season progressed.

 

Maybe use McCullers in run situations and let Couch pin his ears back and be a QB killa!

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he's more than capable playing DE but with that kind of size he's a 3-4 coaches dream come true at NT.

Nice to see some good news for a change.

 

I really want to see this staff (plus a yet to be named hire) have at least one full recruiting cycle together...yes that means Dooley would be here in 2013...I think they can do some serious damage out there.

 

I'd rather see a real coach in 2013 and maybe the new staff can do some damage on the field.
