Rumor out there is that Dave Hart has been talking to Jack Leggett. Leggett recommended Todd Raleigh.
Raleigh is neck and neck with Dooley. I think the fact that we hired him after he hadn't even shown he was capable of being above mediocre at a lower level proves we don't give a crap. We probably wouldn't have even hired a guy with Serrano's credentials if he didn't already have the UT connection. I wouldn't expect to be impressed by his successor.
Brutal way to end the season. Pissed away a 4-0 lead going into the 7th. Not sure why Dave pulled Neely as quick as he did. Kid was mowing them down and only had a 83 pitch count. Not to mention our bullpen sucks.
So, did we so appreciable improvement this season? Will Serrano be back next season? If not, of the coaching candidates who we would realistically look to hire, who's on everyone's list as: 1. Best 2. Likeliest 3. Worst I'll hang up and listen.
Lots more offense this season, I feel that is an improvement. Serrano back? Tough one; I think fan apathy is a bigger problem than W-L at this point. As far as candidates, I don't know enough about D3 beisbol to know where Hart might look.
