Here's a nice hack job on UT and the Weeklys. http://www.espn.com/espnw/sports/ar...s-moment-time-2007-women-college-world-series Tennessee was too religious to be accepting of a trans athlete, even though no one knew he was a trans athlete. Then, you know, since religion was the problem, he transfers to a super secular school: Notre Dame. Also they didn't release him for transfer. The horror. Probably knew he was transgender and made the decision based solely on that. Weeklys are evil.
So at that time, we had the Team Doc (believe that was still 07), the Head Trainer, Asst Trainer, multiple AD Staff, and multiple Head and Asst Coaches in the Women's Department that were well known to be gay, but this athlete was afraid of being accepted? (Not questioning you). Also, I don't get the shot taken at the FCA. I knew plenty of athletes active in the FCA, but I never remember them being made to join or attend.
Consistently competitive, instilled with a winning attitude, good recruiting, stable ship, the Weekly's should get more appreciation than they do
Does anyone have any idea whether we would be able to get about 4/5 people in the stadium tomorrow to watch the game?
