Ya I feel ghoulish, but Josh Smith probably wasn't one of the 3 best wr's. Hope he gets healthy and proves me wrong.
Byrd and Latrell in the slot on a safety or olb with a qb that is accurate should be a matchup nightmare, especially when flanked by Jennings.
We definitely have some athleticism in Byrd and Calloway and a guy that will knock people over in Jennings. My guess is timing will remain an issue with all the new guys but those are some nice pieces to work with.
Besides Josh Smith's one catch against UGA in 2015, he hasn't been very notable. 5 years of mediocrity. I feel better about putting someone younger and more athletic out there
Eh. He is a new player, so there's that. Been battling with Ty Chandler for the 2nd RB spot behind Kelly. It's good to hear, I think we're in alot better shape at the RB position than I feared several months back. I knew Chandler would be great, but with just Kelly and Chandler, the fear of losing one to injury had me worried, but I think we have 3 capable backs now.
good analysis imo. Fils Aime is jacked now as a soph too, but may be 4th string soon. Chandler has great vision and one step cut and go. I also like 3* players from florida, Louisiana, etc vs 3* kids from other areas and Jordan has an edge to him akin to how Kelly plays.
