11 am local kick UT coming off a bye AU a road game at State their 6th game in a row. How does this one play out?
I hate Auburn.... Both my wife and I are UT alum, but her side of the family is Auburn through and through. Again, bow before my hatred. Now, with that said, I do pull for Auburn in the Iron Bowl, because [uck fay] BAMA.
If we had a legit dual threat QB it'd be easier to call, but our offense right now is a game of "When's the 8 yard loss coming?" And against probably the best DL in the conference, that's never good.
I don’t think UT will be able to create s lot of offense but it will be close most of the game. 20-10 AU
We win this game on the last possession, something like 19-17. Then we forfeit the win because the fans run on the field, the team runs into the locker room, showers, and leaves the stadium with 8 seconds left on the game clock.
The best our D can hold their offense to is likely going to be 13-17 points. I don't see our offense scoring enough to in here. They're beatable, certainly, but it'll be down to the defense and special teams to win it for us via the field position battle and forcing turnovers in points territory. I don't see it happening. 24-10 Auburn.
I think if we start forcing turnovers (we had 2-3 against UGA that either bounced right back to their players or we dropped), I think we can make hay off that.
