I disagree. Anyone who has drive and wants to be the best is always thinking “What’s next?” When I finished my end-of-training presentation for my current job, one of the first things my manager asked me was “What do you want your next job to be?” He asks all of his employees, as it helps him coach them on how prepare for it and how to get there. I don’t see anything wrong at all about talking about your next job. Liberty isn’t stupid enough to think Hugh Freeze is retiring there.
It would be nice when doing your first public relations event in your new job to not mention it to the public, though. Your interview/presentation/whatever was not in front of the media.
How quickly you all forget that Barb helped get us out of the Schiano mess and eject that terrible AD. For that, I don't care how she likes to dot her "i."
