Butch has made these kinds of predictions difficult for me. On the one hand, I'm just happy to see guys improving from season to season and even week to week. That makes me feel like we are headed in the right direction. Then I remember that player development is the most base element of coaching, and that is exactly how these sorts of things are supposed to happen. I had gotten so used to players not improving or even regressing that I nearly forgot that player development isn't necessarily something to get excited about. It should be expected. So I'm still unsure about Pruitt.
The outlook got a lot better as today wore on!! Getting the transfer from Meatchicken and Crouch signing on made me feel really good about the future. If we land the other guys things could be really interesting sooner rather than later.
I see us as sort of middling-level and Pruitt still coaching 5-7 years in - in large part because we are scared to pull the trigger yet again on a new coach (understandable).
