Would it matter to my wife if she did, and I tried to leave? You think I could just walk back in and everything would or should be ok?

Go tell your wife you’re leaving her for a nurse at work. Stay in a hotel for 3 days. On the 4th day, come home and tell the wife that you were going to stay with your new girl, but her bed was too small, so you came home.

    Report back.

God probably steered Barnes to where he'd make the most money so he'd tithe more, no?

I still don’t. Right now. Today.

I look forward to his taking two more years off of the recruiting trail, and our subsequent tourney runs.

Yves Pons ain’t gonna sign himself.

I’ve done that like 3 times.

A job is a job, a wife shouldn't feel like work.

Wouldn’t the fact that an AD approached you without the money to cover your buyout be a pretty good sign that the job you thought you wanted is probably a disaster?

He was asked a question. He answered it. He doesn't beat around the bush.

Comparing marriage/leaving your spouse to considering UCLA over UT in basketball is silly.

He deserves the same loyalty that he’s shown.

The millisecond he doesn’t produce Top 3 results, I’ll be hoping for his head.

I don't need a lot of time to consider starting over at another job like mine for significantly less compensation, especially if I like where I live, and the other place is the polar opposite of where I live... I mean, c'mon. Do you need a lot of time to consider that?

Don’t pay attention to what he said, or plainly meant. Just focus on how honest he is.

And God, for having told him to stay...but also God for telling UCLA to not pay his buyout.

So, so, honest. Hang in there, they’ll be calling him brave in just a bit.

We best finish in the Top 3.

    Like we’re paying him.

Or God’s going to tell him that Tenny said he can get bent.

No, it is very comparable except we are pretending like this person loves their wife but really thought hard (prayed!) about leaving her for a woman from a good family that is broke due to bad life choices and mentally ill because he really liked her dad before he passed away many years ago. But he loves his current wife sooo much that because the other woman was broke and needed him to cover rent for awhile, he would stay with his current wife. How unreasonable for her not to be grateful he stayed!

    I don’t appreciate your light-hearted approach, asshat.

    And I mean that honestly.

    Sooo, so, SO honest.

You know why you’d have to think about that job?

Because you might still like it better than the one you’ve got.

Can you imagine making a coach the third highest paid in his sport in the country, and then being comfortable with him finishing somewhere between 9 and 32 each year? HUH?

Maybe to people who love money as much as their wife.

I feel refreshed just reading it. Like a diet sprite blown through a fan across chapped lips. Ahh!

I’d strongly advise against his doing that.
