Do you think Heavy recognizes Pruitt's specific deficiencies? If so, will he call him on it? Or write it off as first game bs?
His comments are dumb, What he said postgame wasnt so bad. Surely he is just spinning tf out of it. The program has gone from hot in recruting and talking about beating Florida on the road preaseason, to coaching hot seat and stunned coaches, players, fans and recruits.
Pretty much. You re not winning in front of a mic. What he says is no more relevant than the trumpet blower.
He has to have regrets taking this job, right? His personality is a complete 180 from where it was one year ago today. It has to be internal.
Don’t mistake learning not to vocalize every thought you have as being proof that someone has changed their mind.
While that's true, I wouldnt fail to underestimate the fact that Fulmer felt like he was prematurely fired and this was the guy he chose after stepping in to save the AD and maybe recalibrate his legacy. If you want Pruitt gone you better hope the trainwreck that was Saturday results in something epic in regards to a season. I dont think Phil admits failure that quick. And honestly would see him getting fired or resigning before he fired Pruitt in year 2.
I dunno, man, we go into the bye with more than two losses and I don't think Pruitt makes the trip down to Athens.
I think it's a pipe dream to think he (Fulmer) does that this quick. Regardless of whether the fans would be behind it . It's not a popular idea this close to Sat but the fans better hope Pruitt figures it out.
Idk, at 5-7 or 4-8 for sure, but starting 1-3 with a likely outcome of 1-11, I don't see how they don't panic.
It would take an epic finish for Fulmer to consider it. And I'm not convinced Phil wouldnt have to step aside for that to be real.
If they start 1-3, both of them will be gone one after the other. Of course, the apathy might have finally spread to the boosters and admin as well, so you could very well be right.
