The worst part about this season is that every turnover has lead to points for the other team. We're not a good team by any stretch but even the slightest bit of adversity or pressure and some of these guys just choke. But our QB is the worst at this. As Ssmiff mentioned, he's left a lot of TDs on the field but not only has he done that, all 3 of his TO's have resulted in 21 points. 4 for 28 if you count the screen to Ty in the GSU game.
Any coach without a head coaching history will fail at Tennessee now. Hot coordinators should be out. Coaches with head coach experience will coach to their level at Tennessee: Kiffin was mediocre before, and he was mediocre at Tennessee. Dooley was an outright failure before, and he was a failure at Tennessee. Jones started lousy and built to 9 win seasons at each stop before, and he did the same at Tennessee. And likely should’ve left when hit that 9 win season, as he did before. Point being, Fulmer or any other AD isn’t going to build a champion from a decent coach. If Tennessee wants championships, they need to hire a championship coach. It’s the ONLY way. That’s why Jimbo Fisher to A&M hurt me more than most hires that year. If he was on the board, and we couldn’t grab him, that was it.
Apparently folks still haven’t gotten it through their skulls that if Pruitt gets shitcanned or quits, there is nobody... NO. BODY. who wants to come coach in Knoxville. The last three searches should have been very enlightening to this dumbass fanbase but it seems that just isn’t the case. There is no knight in shiny orange armor coming over the horizon to save the program. It’s over. Done. Get used to it because UT football’s spiral into the abyss isn’t going to end any time soon.
