By the flop count, shouldn't they have about 23ish players in the questionable/evaluation injury column?
Pretty amazing he wasn’t hurt earlier. Thought that was our best chance to win was to knock him out.
If Saban defaults to the flop strategy to win a game against a fast paced team, they will never make a rule. If he is defeated by a team invoking the flop strategy, then we will see a meaningful rule.
Called Plowman's office. I saw her statement regarding the actions of a few Saturday night. When will she be issuing a statement regarding the horrible officiating that cost her student athletes the results they deserved?
Don't know if this was caught on tv, but the mad dash in the student section towards the empty seats left by people who high tailed it out of there after the 4th and 21 was an underrated gem of a moment.
It was shown on TV and looked like a running of the bulls. I was actually concerned they were going to jump over the railing into the OM bench area, but it was awesome looking.
It was [uck fay]ing amazing in person. I remember being in that section for Florida '98 and experiencing the same thing. But, from across the stadium, it got me juiced.
Yep. It looked awesome when the flooded the empty band section. Most (not all) of the "hightailing" was caused by shit thrown from upper deck at the band and students. I wonder who was sitting above them?
Honestly, I get her statement. Her and D White taking an immediate tough stance allow Heupel the room to go out there and praise us. Also, she's in "punishment mitigation" mode with the SEC.
One more thing (maybe 2) and I'm done. The throwing of stuff is unacceptable. Understanding the "why" does not make it excusable. That being said, I will not allow the throwing of shit; the horrendous reffing; nor the Kiffin flop defensive scheme to diminish the pride I felt watching the players fight; the coaches coach; and the Neyland environment. Make that 3 things: "[uck fay] Lane Kiffin"
Anyone so "injured" that play must stop should have to stay out for the remainder of that series and the next. For the safety of the "injured" player.
