I don’t know that he ever had a showing like this against an offense as inept as SC’s without their top two RBs.
Oh boy. The historic loss stats are starting to come in. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
I’ll take it a step further - the defense was really bad, but it shouldn’t have been an all-time bad performance like it was. We held them on a possession early, but the long kick return put them in a position to go for it on 4th and 1. No kick return, and that’s a punt. And then we all saw the 2 possessions that the refs weren’t gonna let them not score. Those 3 things feel like the difference between this all-time bad performance and, well, just another pretty standard bad game for our defense. I do think they called a really good game offensively as well.
That was a program momentum killing loss if you don’t get off the mat big time next week and in the bowl game. Especially with Hooker out which looks like he probably will be. That was shocking.
We aren't stopping Vandy. Their QB and WR better than anything USCjr has. #14 can play. And now we have Joe Milton.
