Are you thinking tuba or that thing everyone thinks is a tuba that my wife points out isn't actually a tuba, or is that just me? Some kind of something-something-phone.

Sousaphone, and has the same range as a tuba. It is basically a tuba that has been coiled up so it is easier to carry.

It sounds a bit harsher than a tuba, but mostly because you are trying to be as loud as possible.
