No idea why Oats signed such a big extension/buyout. It was obvious he was going to have chances for a premier program in the next year or 2.

 

They may be at the point they are ready to pay that big buyout.

Beard makes more sense than anybody IMO.

Just saw Billy Donovan's name floated out there.

Honestly have no idea if he'd be interested in returning to the college game, but the Bulls are kind of a dumpster fire, both now, and for the foreseeable future. Their two options right now are basically keep trying to win but continuing to suck, or trade everyone and start the rebuild (which means they'll suck for at least a few years).

 

Slight correction: Now, for the foreseeable future, and also for about the last decade

 

I'd love it if this became a dumpster fire.

Mitch and him are buddies so I think that is where they end up. They will take a swing at Wright to appease the crazies but I think it ends with Drew at UK

Probably would do some good for the fans if he would but it would be a lost cause. Bill has it good right now and for as long as he wants. Sampson would be a great fit if he was a bit younger.
