The short passing/screen game has worked wonderfully for us the last 5 years, right?

 

Leach is entertaining, but you're right, he loses games he shouldn't and he wins some he shouldn't. He will never win big here. However press conferences would at least be fun

 

Maybe they do. Leach is just chief among them.

 

the screen is the only way our rbs have had any space. That said, we need a misdirection/screen game like Auburn runs, whoever is coaching, and getting rid of the screen or late drop to an rb seems stupid to me.

Card are you referring to the fighting among boosters? Possibly Currie out?

 

He’ll win 8-10 games a year minimum. He just won’t win the sec or NC or at least not consistently

 

James aside the players do seem to like him.

 

Uh, oh...reports coming out that Currie met with Davenport and it only lasted about 4 minutes.

 

Which is why these video game offense don't work consistently unless you have once a generation talents at QB

 

12 minutes to be exact.

Not sure if a big deal or not, but he's in Knoxville and no deal done with Leach.

I'm sure Haslam does not support the Leach hire.

Haslam is dangling that $360 mil Neyland renovation over UT's head.

It's not an all or nothing deal. Nobody is saying don't ever throw a screen or a swing pass.

Screens and swings should be used to supplement a solid running attack not replace one.

Not exactly.

I'm saying screens and swings are not a substitute for a running game. They are a supplement. Jones' running scheme was idiotic which is why the supplemental stuff didn't work either.

my reference to video game is from the statements here basically that a good coach wins all the games he should and doesn't lose the ones he shouldn't. Urban got blown out by Iowa and may play in the national title game with 2 bad losses on a team that shouldn't lose to anyone, and has a top college coach of all time.
