Well, never in my life imagined the Cards bullpen could shut down the Phillies bats for 6 innings.

 

Perks of my job -

Getting free cardinals playoff fix for Wednesday.

Bout to do the whirlwind tour from Knox to st Louis.

Going with one of my good friends from back home. Thought for a while I might.

This game has also made me the biggest Arizona fan east of the Mississippi tomorrow night. A D-backs wins and first pitch is 5pm for the Cards. A loss and it's probably 7:30. Big difference when you are driving four hours after it.

 

And losing an hour to boot.

 

Only going halfway to my mom's house then rest of the way on Thursday. It's an 8 hour drive from Knoxville to St. Louis. I did it in 2010 for the Elite 8. It's rough.

 

Yea that won't be as bad.

 

Watching C.C. pitch irks the holy hell out of me.
