Now I’m seeing some mess about Bronny James possibly having internet in UT… not sure what to make of that but pretty sure (like… 100% sure) I don’t want that sideshow coming to TBA…

Lebron is going to retire and buy a house in Knoxville and come to all our games.

I’d 100% love it if Lebron James paid attention to Tennessee basketball

Yeah, I have no idea why anyone wouldn't want the GOAT interested and present at their basketball program. Major free PR.

We already tried it with Buzz Peterson, didn’t really work out

So, what you are saying is, it won’t be Lebron at games, it will be Anderson Varejao?

Thank you. This mess about Lebron being the GOAT is utter and absolute horeshit. Not even top 5, if folks are really going to be honest about it.

    What? I don’t think he’s the GOAT but he’s #2 and there isn’t a debate.

Better than Chambelain? Robertson? Russell? Kareem? Kobe?

Not just no, but HELL no. Lebron is good, even great at times but there are quite a few other players I’d take before him if I were putting together my all time team.

See, there is a debate. Bill Russell in his prime would send Lebron home crying. Magic would embarrass Lebron and probably make him give up hoops altogether.

There are only 2 players that are ever included in the GOAT debate. Before Lebron there was only Michael.

People just don’t like Lebron and what he stands for off the court and can’t give the guy any credit.

I don’t know how old you are but I clearly remember Kobe vs Jordan and Jordan vs (Wilt, Russell, etc) debates before that. Lebron is the GORN, but that’s about it.

People said the same about Russell and Kareem… especially after he stopped being Lew Alcindor.

Kobe has never been close to GOAT status. He’s fringe top 5.

We may agree on that, but he was still better than James. There’s such a dearth of truly good (or great) players right now that if you are one of them, you look even better… what makes Jordan untouchable is the sheer amount of greatness he had to beat every single night…
