I've got a meeting in Clarksville tomorrow, and it gives me an excuse to go by House of Brews. I'm loading up with Fat Tire. I'm trying 1554 because I love Fat Tire. I'm probably going to pick something from the Samuel Smith lineup that I haven't had. I only get over there about once a month, so if any of you monkeys have some can't miss suggestion, spill it. Brown bottle. No fruit. Drinkable in 114 degree weather. Makes women look better. Those are the rules.
Got some Stone IPA, Bridgeport IPA (I like it, back off), Shiner Bock and Stella in the fridge. I like Stella, for some reason. Good yard work beer.
Lucky Bucket IPA. I wouldn't drive back to Clarksville to get more, but it was nice. I did stock up on Fat Tire, 1554, and picked up some Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale that I'm really looking forward to trying.
Belgian whites, mmmmmmmmm Cold miller lite tonight. In other news, some douche down the street got [uck fay]ed up, took out two brick mailboxes and totaled his truck. Even better he had a UGA plate. Wooooooooo. Dont drink and drive toolbags
Not beer, but just let fly a glass of Woodford Reserve Master's Collection. I'm still not a fan of bourbon.
Yea, had some friends over the other night and we had a few. That was the first time since 2004 that I've had bourbon. Just doesn't compete with Glenlivet, in my mind.
Goes down good with a great cigar. Hell, at the risk of looking like a down home straight toothless redneck, in the eyes of hat, it isn't too bad with a dip, either.
If you like the smoky style, give Talisker 18 a swing. Not one of the big dollar brands (although not cheap), but has an incredibly smoked peat taste. You'll enjoy.
