The last time this team had a decent Jr QB and good WRs and heavily loaded upper class was 2006 and that was a good team with a good year. If we could get back to that level and build instead of peak and decline, I'd be thrilled.
Realistic. Our offense will be one of the very best in the country. And our defense -- for the reasons that BPV dove into several posts above -- will be above average. Not '98 Vols D. Not a D like LSU or Bama this year, but a very respectable D. One that won't get talked about a lot, but one that will be good enough to keep us out of shootout scenarios. In other words, even though our offense will be really good next year, I'm not saying that our team is merely going to be some kind of rich man's Houston. We'll be like a better version of this year's Arkansas.
