I agree with the assessment that the mods at VN likely thought your "going to war" post was somehow tied to this site, OE. A ban just doesn't make sense, otherwise, really...unless they really do hate the invasion of the endzone into the rest of the site (which I personally would find annoying, but that's just me...)
