I would completely miss shows if it weren't for Netflix. My latests:

The League (as funny as advertised)
    Louie
    The War (Burns doc)
Mark Twain (Another Burns doc - one of his best - maybe second only to Civil War)
    Thomas Jefferson
Several good docs / routines by Bill Hicks

Just watch The Wild, Wonderful, Whites of West Virginia.

    I have two contradictory thoughts:

How can anyone (I'm talking about you Hank Williams III) find anything redeeming about this disastrous, brutal, callous, ignorant, train-wreck of a family?

Why do I find their attitude toward civilized culture so appealing and spot on?

I don't mind how they live, but without the government *** they couldn't make it.

Started watching Sports Night last week, already finished Season 1.

It pretty much goes from a cheesy comedy with a laughtrack in episode 1 to a drama with hilarious characters by the end of the season.

Agree. Though I think they very intentionally expose the silliness inherent in the system.

Everyone is trying to cheat and abuse the system. It's just human nature.

Just watched two documentaries: My Perestroika and The Rise and Fall of WCW. My Perestroika is in Russian with English subtitles but I think accurately captures Russian culture and sentiment. It would excellent doc for the school teachers here.

The Rise and Fall of WCW is just plain old fun.

Kinda late to the party on the movie I'm about to mention, but I Saw The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia for the first time last night.

    Holy. ****.

The "can't look away from a car crash" analogy that was posted earlier was pretty spot on.

Watched Nude Nuns with Big Guns.

Classic b film. If you had a shot of whiskey every time you saw boobs, you'd be unconscious by the end of the film

No need to make fun of Catholics and their alcoholism. It's a disease, bro.....

    Yes, this is in jest.

Not sure if it's on Netflix or not, but "The Raid: Redemption" is a pretty badass action movie. It's in Redbox and well worth the $1.20.

Started watching the UK series "The Inbetweeners". Pretty upset that it took me this long to notice it, extremely fun show.

Watched Senna yesterday. It was decent.

I just finished the first two seasons of The Walking Dead. Where can I find the first few episodes of Season 3 online?
