New Group of Mods Nominated

Our goal is always to be as transparent with the members of this site, wherever possible and prudent, and on matters large or small. This is certainly true, and of particular importance, when it comes to any possible change in the leadership structure of the site.

With that in mind, I felt that it is important to make everyone aware that MULTIPLE members have been nominated to become a Site Moderator, and that I have passed that along to the current Moderators, for their careful consideration. As most of you may already know, it is a long-standing rule that the addition of any new Moderator(s) will require the unanimous consent of all current Mods and Admins.

I'll make those nominated person(s) aware of their decision(s), once known.

If none are approved (and they are all long-shots, IMO), I will simply inform the members that no new Moderator is being added.

Should any actually be accepted, I'll publicly state as much, and only then will tell you who s/he and/or they may be.

For the purpose of anonymity of those being considered, I don't think it fair to mention who the candidate(s) may be, prior to their acceptance.

You are welcome to speculate, but know that I'd estimate that there is less than a 10% chance that you'd accurately guess the identity of even one of those being considered.

I will close with this piece of advice: if a mod or admin contacts you, either with questions or requests, I would not assume that it were a joke, and would give a timely and thorough response. Fair warning.
