I definitely would not have come up with 2 or 3 without a lot of guessing. I had a general impression of us having done poorly against Georgia, but I would’ve guessed Auburn or LSU were worse, and I had a general impression of us doing well against Florida, but not 5-1 well.

I wouldn't have guessed florida until process of elimination. but ya, thinking back we've been owning them

 

Part of that is luck of the draw—we’ve only played them once each in our three non-tournament years, having gotten them twice only during the year we got up to #1. On the other hand, we’re 2-1 against them in our three non-tournament years, so there’s that.
