Pete Huttlinger died yesterday. You probably never heard of him unless you are a guitarist's guitarist but he was an amazing talent...

There was a Conan O'Brien several years ago where Abe Vigoda walked out on stage unannounced as a surprise guest. Conan excitedly introduced him to the audience. Abe never acknowledged Conan, the audience, or anyone in the studio. He just walked right across the stage and off camera as if he were lost in a daze of senility and had just wandered onstage. It was hilarious.

 

And it actually seems legit this time. Been a running gag for years on the internet to run with a rumor that he had died.
