if Detroit is healthy they are virtually unbeatable. The question is, will they be healthy.

Give me the Nordiques to win it all.

Preds Wings and Flyers Pens are the runaway best series in the first round on paper. Will be interesting to see whether Detroit can put it together on the road. My fandom tells me Preds in 6, my head says the series goes 7 either way, but I have no idea who wins it.

    I say:

    Rangers
    Bruins
    Devils
    Pens

    Canucks
    Sharks
    Hawks
and I will refrain from making a for sure pick in the last one.

epic [Ban Me] move by Weber at the end of the game. that's not going to sit well.

it was beyond a douche move.

that's bordering on Bertuzzi and Hunter levels.

I'll just repeat what I said after Haynesworth-Gurode: [itch bay] had it coming.

Yes, this is tongue-in-cheek. Though only just.

Aaaand the guy reviewing it will be Red Wing lifer Brendan Shanahan. [uck fay]ing fantastic. I'm hoping this is just a one-game thing.

I'm at work and missed it, but I have a hard time believing it was nearly as bad as the Bertuzzi thing. That was flat out assault

It didn't seem to injure Zetterburg, which is one difference. I suspect he was trying to milk it a bit, which is probably fair. It was definitely gratuitous, but it was magnified by the fact that it came after the whistle.

Not sure how one would be able to tell the difference from video whether or not it was largely embellished or full-on face smash. Or all points between. Guessing that the presence of blood would be a likely indicator, though.

I would start by taking off my Pretatard colored glasses.

Not sure why anyone would be able to say with a straight face that this doesnt warrant a one game suspension. When you grab a guy by the helmet and smash his face into the glass, there is no room for any justification imo. Its so far outside the game of hockey that it isnt even close. I say this as a life long Red Wings hater.
