Shadow Warrior series about special operations over the last century. One caught my eye especially the raid on son tay during vietnam, officially the govt blamed the cias use of a rain machine for the pows being moved. I started a thread in the politics forum.
11/22/63 is the best Stephen King written book in many, many years. I couldn't put it down and the story really pulls you in.
Just finished The Last Templar by Raymond Khoury. It is a poor man's Da Vinci Code. I wouldn't recommend it, although I am reading the sequel, now. I wouldn't recommend it, either.

Purchased world at war, the story of world war ii and the civil war day by day. Both on sale at barnes and noble for under $10. Just been able to skim them, but really cool pictures in each.
At the beach this week read the hunger games, michael shaara's the killer angels, and the moviegoer by walker percy.
Life of Pi Five People you Meet in Heaven Ready Player One All were enjoyable. Ready Player One was really good, in a nerdy 80's pop culture sort of way.
Never been a sci-fi reader but I recently read the first three books of the Ender saga. Ender's Game was great. Now I'm finally reading A Dance With Dragons.
Reading One Last Strike, book by LaRussa about the 2011 Cardinals. Pretty good stuff. Gives some insight into how he thought and managed.
