Still a little concerned about recruiting and more than a bit concerned about how we had so much trouble finding a coordinator willing to come here. But we certainly seem to have done a good job of finding a coach that’s good at the stuff the last coach was bad at, and that’s always good for some optimism.

 

There's a special place in the heart of every bammer for Fulmer, and it burns. They hate Fulmer. They'll point to the Means case, but it's really because he was their daddy for a long while.

I know it sounds crazy, but I still believe that, if Shula hadn't beaten him in 2005, he would have gotten at least one more year before getting canned.

 

JH had a zoom meeting with players parents last night. Dude is going all out to build a team and family atmosphere with everybody on the same page, plus, it doesn't appear there is any fake stuff from him. Maybe due to his background of coming from small town and humble to winning a bunch of awards? Not sure but I dig his early moves and according to my buddy who has a kid on the team, the vibe is great up there right now.

 

I’ll feel a lot better if the vibe is still good in late October...
