So you like all music, WIR? Because, if you say no, according to your rules, you're an attention whore and a hypocrite.

 

I have a fond appreciation of all music and artists. Don't make broad assumptions and silly accusations. I have never said I hate anything or anybody. Hate is based on ignorance and for someone to start a "I hate so and so" thread is ignorance at it finest.

 

True story. In 1977, we played GT for homecoming. Buffett played at half time. After the game I went back to Gibbs. The guy that lived next to me was a personal friend of Buffett. I turned my stereo on and played a Buffett album. I had my back to the door when I heard this voice say, "You have good taste in music!" I turned around and it was Jimmy Buffett himself. Real nice guy.

 

That is really cool. I like it when celebs turn out to be down to earth people.
I had a friend who was a huge JB fan and actually died at one his concerts. His best friend wrote to JB and told him the story. Buffet personnally wrote a letter back with his condolences and sent an autographed picture dedicated to "Doc" our deceased friend that said "Fins Up Doc You will be missed". We all cried.

 

Going to his concert in Nashville on April 27th.

Tenny, I bought you a ticket. I also thought we could catch some minor league baseball while we're there.
