Seems pretty dumb, or at least desperate, to me. the number of true freshman (even future nfl hall of famers) that have come in and immediately been even mediocre on the oline is a fairly low number. center is even more difficult.
I feel like Oregon is going to put up some points on LSU though, and I don't know if LSU can muster more than 21 or 28 in response. Should be tight.
there only points against cal came off a punt return and turnover. the oregon offense can go off the rails sometimes. i am excited to watch the game though.
What Cal did was exceptional. They played Oregon the best of any team in the regular season. I don't know if LSU is going to replicate that, all because they are more talented.
but the question is why did cal, bsu, and to some extent auburn and ASU do that to oregon? because they were by far the best front 7 oregon faced. the pac-10 had a particually bad defensive talent outside of cal and asu last year. even usc hanged for a while until their lack of depth showed up.
But John Chavis wasn't calling plays. He'll have the corners 18 yards off the line of scrimmage on 3rd and 3.
Droski has 2 points compared to our 10 or so. Points added up at the end of the season. Need to get more people in this.
