  1. Florida in Retrospect - A Tale of One Half

    So... we lost. We only lost by 10, when it looked like we might lose by 35, but still... lost. How did we get from the apex of optimism at kickoff to a depressing 23-33? Here we go.

    We basically tied Florida in the second half. Two TDs each and one field goal each. 175 yards of offense for the Vols and then 179 for the Gators.   2. Where is Phillip Fulmer's statue?

    I am sure most Volunteer fans have at least seen a picture of the enormous statue of Robert Neyland outside of the stadium. It is a nice tribute to an important figure in Tennessee history. I have nothing against Robert Neyland. He was a great coach back in the 30's. I do take exception to the fact that he got a statue over Phillip Fulmer, who is far more relevant to Tennessee Football today.
