Didn't realize Gerrit Cole started the season 1-4. Finished 19-1. Astros hadn't lost a game he started since July 12th.

David Ross managing the Cubs. Honestly surprised it isn't Girardi.

Not a big fan of giving the reins to someone that has never managed.

Alex Cora and Bob Brenly would like a word.

Aaron Boone hasn’t been too shabby either.

I’m not. I don’t think he was ever a serious contender.

This would be the biggest WS upset since when? Cards over Tigers in ‘06?

Nats are a much better team than people are giving them credit for. They just started cold.

19-31 is more than a cold start.

Then throw in a garage sale and retread bullpen.

They didn't how to handle their excitement over not playing besides one of the biggest douches in all of sports

A team with Scherzer-Strasburg-Corbin shouldn't ever have a losing record against anyone over any number of games, especially a team with noted chokers Verlander and Greinke. Cannibal Sanchez has been pretty money in the playoffs as well, but if he's off he'll get rocked in Game 3. MLB clearing Howie Kendrick to take every PED at the same time this year was also clutch. Better win now, because Soto is actually older than Ryan Zimmerman so who knows how long he can keep it up.

Pretty sure that 7 2/3 or whatever of no hit ball he threw in StL was the most hittable no hit 7 2/3 in baseball history

Never mind on that “biggest upset since” question that I posed.

If it's legal for pitchers to throw at batters' heads, it should be legal for the batters to charge the mound with bat in hand and full on swinging.
