Since we started playing better, we have lost 2 4* DE commits and gained a 3* OL commit with few offers. Something is amiss. Rumph? Atmosphere? $? Too strict? Wtf
im highly concerned we aren't going to sign a full class or put in fillers, in a year where we are already 15 scholarship players short. Something in Knoxville feels like a deterrant. Kids go pick lsu and auburn right underneath us. Are we not partying and paying enough on officials? Do we need to get back to paid hostesses and get pics of them partying? The current approach seems to be getting some solid kids and players but something is off and I don't know if its Pruitt, Rumph, Knoxville, peer recruiting, police, school requirements, or what. We lose Baron, who's dad is on the freaking staff, and we will have to play a 2-6-3 defense in a couple years.
We aren't recruiting well enough to do any better in the next few years. This is a 6-7 win, occasional 8 win program.
Pruitt needs an Austin Thomas like hire. Everything involving recruiting is incredibly unorganized. Sherrer needs to be shown the door the day after the season ends.
If only we’d go ahead and hire one person who had proven adept at expertly managing all of this shit. 1. Get in, stay in, set’em up 2. Let Pruitt coach. 3. Let Papaw be the closer. 4. Sign’em up. 5. Rinse & repeat.
man Hardy went to Auburn once on a shit weekend where their players tweeted at fans and commits on the spot after visiting UT close to a dozen times. I don't believe an unorganized official visit had anything to do with it. We didn't play ball hard enough
[ Didn't he come in for the South Carolina game? We aren't getting an atmosphere better than that anytime soon, until we are able to play competitive for 60 minutes against Bama, Georgia, and Florida.
He's going to let a few guys go. I think Sherrer and Weinke are goners. He needs to find a role for Austin Thomas and convince Lupoi to come back to the college game
