It definitely wasn't going to be good for him to participate at the combine. He'd have probably been better served to wait until UT's Pro-day, but that doesn't really fit his personality. After the numbers he put up, I'm betting he'll go undrafted.
Dude shows out where it counts. Not sure a bad combine pushes him to undrafted status, but we will see.
Would be awesome if the Titans would get him but someone was telling me that it’d probably be best if he got away from Mid TN.
I have doubts that he's even going to get drafted now, and if he does, it won't be until late Day 3. That was a horrendous combine, any way you slice it. That doesn't mean that he's for sure going to be a bust...but for every Jerry Rice or Anquan Boldin that our fans are using to justify JJ's poor combine, I bet there are some 50 other receivers who test that poorly that don't make it. Combine stats aren't everything, of course, but there does exist a baseline below which they probably do matter. I don't think he can count on being able to truck NFL defenders all the time like he did in college.
I couldn't give 2 turds about the NFL, but hope JJ can play in the league a long time and make lots of money.
Quinten Dormady was invited back to throw at Tennessee's pro day, and that is straight freaking class. Says a lot about Pruitt's commitment to the players as people, imo.
