Seeing as how we don’t have sports, I’ve been watching old games on YouTube. tonight I’ve watched the 92 Georgia game and I’m halfway through the 92 Florida game. observations: The Patriots dynasty came 10-12 years too late for Craig Faulkner I’ve said it before, but Heath Shuler, as good as he was, would be legendary in a modern offense. Shane Matthews probably still wakes up in the middle of the night screaming because of that 92 game
We watched the South Carolina game from this year. Really gonna miss JJ in Orange. He had a great game.
1. The '92 team was the least talented team from that decade yet had the best September of any team in school history. 2. Todd Kelly ate Florida alive. 3. RE: '92 being the least talented team of the decade - JJ McClesky was the only man on the roster to make a start on the '90 squad.
Only way I could watch any games from the Butch years is if someone who loved me went through and edited them, removing any picture, mention or statistic of that asshole from the video.
Offensive line had to have the worst technique in the country. I especially loved it when we’d get a first down and we run to the line and hand off for no gain. A waste of a down. Defensive backs never turned around to find the ball. The list is endless really. One final thought- The talent kept him around way longer than it should have. It was a house of cards
Watched the ‘99 Alabama game a couple of weeks ago. Maybe the most underrated win of Fulmer’s career.
The depth that we had stockpiled really showed in that game and it was the best game Randy Sanders ever called imo. Most underrated win for Fulmer? Yeah that one is up there with '00 South Carolina. Sooo much talent on those teams.
[uck fay] yeah. Remember it like it was yesterday. My FIL and I walked around Abingdon with a UT flag that night.
Obviously my kids had never seen the game. When Joey Kent takes it the house for 80 yards on the first play, my oldest son turned to me and said "do we blow them out?". I just smiled.
Man, watching that game live I was damn sure it was going to happen. Then Jay Graham busts his play to the house and I knew then it was over. But I was nervous until then.
