me too, because if it does lung damage it means a second round would be riskier than the first

I’m pretty sure the only possible negative outcome is death.

That’s much faster than I would have expected it.

I have heard stories that it is pretty bad there, but from friend of a friend type thing. Haven't put much stock in it till just now.

    Tennessee now showing:

    State wide -

    906 cases
    3 deaths
    53 hospitalized

427 cases in Davidson and Shelby county combined

Currently 43 counties do not have a reported case.

36 of the 52 counties that have reported cases have 5 or fewer per county.

While Atlanta is out of 1600 or so ICU beds with same number of cases?
Something seems amiss if we are using 53 beds and they are at capacity.

Haven't really looked at Atl or GA state numbers.

Those I reported are from WTVF in Nashville. Their afternoon report.

We have 900. Georgia has 1200. Not sure how concentrated things are. Could be most of that 1200 is in Atlanta. Considering the airport, I’d say there are a lot of cases.

    Probably true.

Same reason Nashville/Davidson Co has 28% of the state cases. The tornado clean up hasn't helped distancing either in middle TN.

    Found some GA numbers

    From AJC -

    - GA has 190 (+/-) more cases than TN.
    - GA has tested 5500 cases to TN at about 12,000 (reportedly)
    - GAs hospitalized total is 361 to 53 in TN (reportedly)
    - GA has 38 fatalities to this point while TN is reporting 3

Something doesn’t seem right. No way 361 hospitalizations (if which probably not over 30% are critical) have saturated ICU beds unless they were already full for other reasons.

A lot of pneumonia cases will be occupying beds this time of year. Not unusual to be near capacity in March. Not exactly sure why it would be more of an issue for ATL, though.
