CBS made it sound like he gone. Wouldn’t shock me if they were wrong.

Sounds like he's testing the waters and leaving it open to possibly return.

As of now, he's not signing with an agent. It wouldn't surprise me if he's gone. I believe he's married and is a year older than a typical college junior.

Is there concern he could lose PT to any of the incoming freshmen?

I don't think so. Our freshman class is guard heavy.

Like somebody said earlier, I’m a little more concerned he just stays and balls in France

He will be back. Doing the same thing Admiral did a few years ago.

I think so too. He'll get some good feedback, know what to work on, and come back.

My ignorance of basketball being noted, did Pons strike anyone as being an NBA-ready player last year? Sincere question.

He showed that he has the potential to be an elite defender in the NBA. If he can brush up the offensive game a little he can make a roster. He's an elite level athlete. I know that doesn't always translate to being a good basketball player but given some time and development he will have a shot in the NBA in my opinion.

He'll be playing internationally for Team France for years to come.

He went from being an offensive liability to a double digit scorer in one offseason and is the best athlete I’ve ever seen in person. I think he’ll get a shot eventually

His athleticism is of NBA quality. It as always a matter of developing the skills and instincts. As JQK said, he really took a step forward this past season. If he were to make the same amount of progression again this offseason into next year, he's a 1st round pick.

He'll be one of the top 5 athletes in the draft whenever he goes. There will be some team willing to use a pick on him.
