What’s the general skinny on Crouch?

What’s his ultimate position / role?

What’s kept him from making more of an immediate impact ala Henry T?

What should we expect from him this season, and long term?

Ssmiff Went to the White House...Again

He moved around a lot as a true freshman and hadnt been taught much as far as scheming in HS. He had a lot to handle and will be fine.
I expect him to be sent to the backfield, wherever they put him. Jmo

If he stays healthy I think he has a solid year on the defensive side of the ball.

This. If he has another health issue he'll end up in the backfield though.

Wait, y’all think he’ll be sent to the offensive backfield if he has another health issue?

What was his first health issue?

I thought that he was coming in as the Star, and that running goal line was just because he was mean as shit.

He wants to be a linebacker, he is at Tennessee because of Pruitt's plan for him at linebacker. He's still figuring out how to play defense, though.

Don't be surprised if Eason ends the year starting beside To'oto'o at MLB and Crouch is used as a pass rusher. Eason is a stud

We used to oversign RBs in the late 90's and early 2000's and convert some to linebackers, iirc. And of course Pruitt shifted Banks over to LB. Seems to be a strategy, given where the most talented players make hay in high school.

Jauan was a higher ranked qb prospect than Burrow or Lamar Jackson. Your best athletes are going to have the ball in their hands all the time

What’s going on with Banks? Is he officially back, yet?

Not yet. But I think it's basically done. Just need to get under 85 scholarships now.

Again, if he stays healthy, I think we'll be talking about how good of year he had when the season is over. He's a tremendous athlete and has plenty of size. He's gonna be a good to great player for us...all my 0.02 though.

That's gonna be difficult when we exceed that in just the 2021 class.

If you trust Austin Price, apparently he's saying that Banks will be back in June. Guess we'll see.
